Antennagate What will Apple do Tomorrow

The iPhone 4 just launched in the USA and reception problems due to the design of the antenna continue to spread through the media. Earlier this week Consumer Reports couldn’t recommend the iPhone 4 due to the issues. They have lined up a press conference for tomorrow to go into the issue at least that is what is expected. Did they know about this defect before and how widespread is it. Since it is Apple speculation runs rampant. I have no idea what to think about the issue or what they will do for all those affected by it. Mashable had a poll asking what people think Apple should do.

From a full recall, a voluntary recall, to free bumpers or they should stand their ground and so far the winner is:

Issue a voluntary recall of the iPhone 4 — you can get a replacement if you want one 44%

Do you have an iPhone 4, has this issue made you think about not buying one when it becomes available and do you think Apple handled the situation as well as they could have.

Tomorrow will be interesting, that’s for sure.
