FERNANDA ROMANO Chief Creative Officer and Partner, Naked The Tomorrow Awards team is happy to announce that Fernanda "Fefa" Romano — Chief Creative Officer of Naked Communications Brasil and past Tomorrow Awards Monster Judge — has moved up the food chain and will now serve as co-chair of the next panel of Monster Judges. "We are so excited to have Fernanda help lead the way as we take the Tomorrow Awards to new heights," says Ignacio Oreamuno, Executive Director of The Art Directors Club and Tomorrow Awards Founder. "Her resume is phenomenal and her career accolades are even more so, but what makes her so well suited to lead the Tomorrow Awards Monster Judges is her unbridled passion for new things, new experiences, new technologies, new outlooks on life. Fefa is one person who evolves even faster than the advertising industry does, and as I have witnessed firsthand, she runs a very tight ship when it comes to chairing award shows." A native Brazilian, Fernanda has travelled the world, working within and spearheading the digital departments of many renowned agencies while tearing down the barriers between digital and so-called 'traditional' advertising. She started her career at Carillo Pastore Euro RSCG in São Paulo and worked for several internet companies before joining DM9DDB in early 2002. She was made Director of Other Medias and Special Projects in 2004, overseeing a team that included creative and production with the main task of driving creative integration between all mediums for the agency's clients. Fernanda joined Lowe New York as Executive Creative Director in December 2005 and, in 2007, moved on to Lola Madrid as Global Creative Director. She then joined JWT London in 2008 to be Global Executive Creative Director on Nokia. In 2009, Fernanda joined Euro RSCG Worldwide as Global Creative Director on Digital and Experiential Campaigns, and in 2012, she returned home to Brazil as Chief Creative Officer of Naked's new São Paulo. |
