The YouTube Symphony Orchestra brought together musicians from around the globe, who competed for the chance to play at Carnegie Hall. Over 3,000 YouTube audition videos led to 96 finalists from over 70 countries. The event attracted three times as much press as any event in Carnagie Hall's history. It generated 66 million channel and video views on YouTube. But most importantly, it shed light on the quality content and passionate communities that make up the YouTube brand.
